The NAHS is bringing together various governments, universities, industry, the private sector and various animal health communities in the development of the NAHS.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is coordinating the development of the NAHS, working alongside other federal partners, including Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Environment Canada, Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and Parks Canada.
