1. Canadians can demonstrate that they know what their animal resources are, what the associated health and welfare status of their animal populations is, and which factors can influence this status.
2. Canadians can demonstrate that they have the technical capacity and the competency to analyze data related to animal health and welfare and they can communicate to all partners the significance of the information and the implications for animal health management.
3. Canadians can demonstrate that they can make timely, flexible and informed decisions to prevent, manage and control animal health ad welfare risks.
4. Canadians can demonstrate that they can measure the impact of their management decisions and actions, and they can assess whether they are successful or not.
Upon their return from lunch, participants reported to their respective breakout rooms to engage in discussions on the proposed visions, the diagnostic and strategic considerations and to review the proposed strategic objectives.
