Table of Contents Appendix 1: Proposed NAHS - Draft Document for Discussion >

Part 5: Comments on the Two-Day Workshop

Comments on what worked well:

  • vision development process
  • clarity emerged on the second day
  • good job of scrambling to collect thoughts
  • adaptability of facilitators
  • production of vision document - difficult job done well by the NAHS Team

Comments on what was frustrating:

  • not seeing the material and the agenda in advance of the workshop
  • restriction on the number of participants
  • felt like we were revisiting items from past two workshops
  • wordiness of document - could have been shorter, simpler, more focussed
  • voting process did not capture the changes of work done on day 1 in the breakout sessions
  • sequence of discussions, cycling back instead of a steady forward progress
  • report from September workshop did not come out early enough
  • report from September difficult to wade through
